Dalian Heavy Industry (DHI) Wins Largest-Ever $1 Billion Deal from Morocco's OCP Group

According to reports in Chinese state-affiliated and financial media, citing a company release, Dalian Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (DHI), a core subsidiary of China First Heavy Industries (CFHI), has secured a historic contract with Morocco's OCP Group. Valued at approximately $1.07 billion (about 10.7 billion Moroccan Dirhams / MAD), this order represents the largest single industrial contract in DHI's corporate history.


The agreement is for the turnkey design and construction of a major industrial complex. Specific details from Chinese financial outlet Dong Fang Wang identify the project as a phosphoric acid purification and processing plant, with a target completion timeline of 24 months.


This landmark deal marks a significant milestone for DHI, showcasing its global competitiveness in executing large-scale, high-value industrial projects.
